Sunshine PCB (Penang) Sdn. Bhd., located in Penang, Malaysia, is strategically situated near one of Asia’s key hubs for electronic manufacturing and semiconductors. The 2,800 m² (30,000 ft²) facility began operations in 1989 and was acquired by Sunshine Global Circuits in 2023.
Recently upgraded, this ISO 9001:2015 certified plant specializes in advanced PCBs up to 16 layers, including RF microwave boards, hybrid constructions, blind vias, and cavity PCBs. With six surface treatments (ENIG, LF-HAL, OSP, Ag, Hard Au, and Soft Au) and quick turn capability of 5–10 days for 2 to 6 layer boards, the Penang site supports a wide range of materials such as TUC, AGC, Rogers, and Isola. The facility employs 100 skilled professionals, offers a monthly production capacity of 2,500 m², and is poised for expansion with 19.38 acres of newly acquired land to support future growth.
