This includes the Conflict Minerals provisions of the United States Dodd-Frank Act Section 1502 which requires US companies (Sunshine's customers) to disclose and avoid the use of conflict minerals from the DRC and surrounding countries to prevent funding armed conflict and human rights abuse.

Sunshine flows-down this requirement to our suppliers to make sure they are aware of the requirements of this law, and to ensure raw materials used in the manufacture of our products are not sourced from conflict regions, such as the DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo).
